I'm posting this to ask Arlington Voters to write-in Theo Stamos for Commonwealth's Attorney on November 5th.
We have enough problems with the homeless, drugs and alcohol, crime by non-residents, and free-range Millennials now. If Team Parisa takes control of the Commonwealth's Attorney's office it's going to be "Party's Over Here, in Arlington".
If I wanted to live in "vibrant" and "trendy" DC, I would. I don't need or want the bad behavior that's epidemic in DC moving here.
Thanks for a blog that's an alternative to a continuous stream of infomercials for the status quo, e.g., ArlNow, Sun Gazette, Inside Nova.

Thanks for this. I'm writing her name on the ballot. I don't need or want the DC drug culture in Arlington...the Millennial alcohol culture is enough.
How much more money can we spend on assisting VERY dysfunctional people in this tiny county? County tried the "free range homeless" agenda 30 years ago. Didn't work. Arlington's FY 20 Budget will employ 708 employees in the Department of Human Services at a cost of $141 million. How much more does Team Parisa intend the County to spend?
When will the Local Media take a fact-finding trip to vibrant Seattle, where homeless addicts are sleeping in tents everywhere? What's Amazon doing about that? Nothing.
"Team Parisa" is a bunch of stoners and various types of scofflaws who want Arlington to be completely "free range" -- dogs, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, alcohol consumption, loud partying, homeless camping out and hanging out, and toleration for disorderly conduct in public places.
Like "Woodstock Arlington 2020"?
Based on the ongoing environmental deterioration in the County I'm not voting for any so-called "Progressive" incumbent in November.
Dump the Dems....40 years are enough of their Limo Liberal (1979) ----> Range Rover Progressive (2019) antics.
County is spending tens of millions on "Homelessness" but I see hundreds of homeless people wandering around the County. Why do so many end up in Jail? The Progressives get as much tax revenue as they want to throw at their pet social programs.

Anyone else read Arlington Police Beat 8/8/19 on Inside Nova this week? When the perps can get away with any number of armed robberies and burglaries without being apprehended we are in serious trouble as a County. What happens when Parisa allows criminals and dysfunctional persons free range over the County?

According to the InsideNova Police Beat for 8/15/19 no armed robbery or burglary perpetrators were apprehended by ACPD.
Entire County's going to be a Party Zone in 10 years. Not that the Progressive VIPs who will be outta here by then will care.

Latest campaign B.S. from Cristol and Dorsey indicates that the County will be an infilled and urbanized mess within 10 years because of the addiction to New Urbanism, to the extent drivers of motor vehicles / electric motor vehicles won't be able to make left turns even on a green arrow.
The more residential housing units are constructed in Arlington the more residential taxes increase. Reality Check: Urban Village Idiots run the County.
With population growth, relaxation of drug laws, and more bad guys selling drugs, we're gonna have more bad guys selling more bad drugs in Arlington.

I support Theo, who built a stellar reputation as a firm but fair prosecutor in her 20 some years with the CA's office. The real racists are the PC do-gooders who would encourage more black on black crime by putting cons on the street.

I want to see an reorganization of ACPD to put cops on the street, not only at street festivals.
I want to see an end to Millenialization of the County. I'm 31 years old, married with a kid and a home, and they're an embarrassment. Why should I pay for a whole bunch of their junk that does nothing for me, ranging from cops working overtime in Clarendon to millions being spent on bicycle recreation?

How do people feel now that Theo has gone to work for Trump and Barr? I have known Theo for decades and while I excused her less than Democratic ideals once she became the top prosecutor as misguided overzealousness due to my personal fondness for her, I just cannot excuse her taking a job in the Trump,administration, let alone in Brarr's Justice Dept. It is almost heartbreaking that she would enable the venomous policies of Trump and Barr. I am just at a real loss.
Look at where she came from - her predecessors as Arlington's Commonwealth's Attorney.
As for Theo's successor, ACPD is still chasing juveniles who congregate in groups of 3 or 4 and still apprehending the homeless for stealing food from convenience stores.
