Hi Yupette,
The East Falls Church planning meeting (specifically the Planning Commission's Long Range Planning Committee meeting) scheduled for January 4th has been re-scheduled for January 18th between 7 and 10 PM at 2100 Clarendon Blvd, Meeting Room C and D.
Reason for the postponement: "Staff is continuing to make revisions to the East Falls Church Area Plan". Wonder how many of the planning staff live in Arlington?

I understand Richard Tucker, who is the overall staff coordinator, lives in D.C.
Translation - "Staff is continuing to include additional elements of Chris Zimmerman's megalomaniacal design into the plans."
How many members of the Planning Commission either don't live in Arlington or spend most of their time living elsewhere?
Ask Planning Commissioner Nanny Hunt.
Let's see, County Manager, County Board Clerk, County Attorney, and Planning Staff don't live in Arlington. Neither do the REITs and their attorneys. They get to weigh in on this project. How about the residents who will be affected? Oh, only one civic association was allowed to do the "planning" and Chris Zimmerman's hand picked enablers rubber stamped whatever Zimmerman put in front of them.
Also, local media - Post, Sun Gazette, F.C. News-Press - are pro-development no matter what the consequences.
All Arlingtonians should be interested in EFC planning - or lack thereof. The favorable treatment the County Board awards the developers costs us all.
I find it very interesting that planning staff members who live in Falls Church and would be affectd by mega-infill in EFC have said nothing.
So-called 'planning staff' are the worst. All they care about is getting the best deal for developers.
