Elitist School System Stealing from the Needy to Give to the Greedy?

Ms. Yupette, by every measure of achievement students from South Arlington families are falling farther behind North Arlington children of the wealthy elitists who run the Arlington School System. What can poor minority families do?

So, when childen having access to a PC at home is seen as essential there are hundreds of poor kids in South Arlington without access to a PC, while the Yuptards toss their PCs on the curb the day after Christmas.

It's like South Africa, the Elite needs a steady supply of high school dropouts to clean their homes, landscape their McMansions, etc.

Look at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, a school Thomas Jefferson would have approved of. Almost all the students are from families with median incomes above $100,000, usually way above $100,000.

Hi, there is only one person I know of at TJ who is from a black working class background - the Principal.

Sun Fisette Editor Scott McCaffrey went around the school system last week collecting PR hype he's publishing as "news" this week. What a turkey.

Talk about greedy Yuptards, check out the older alumni of Thomas Jefferson. They live in neighborhoods where everyone has a high 6-figure income but won't contribute $25 a year.

Trailer classrooms around all three new high schools by 2015? Don't be surprised. Education is not the School System's priority.

Screw you Socialists. I LOVE having Wakefield high school immigrant drop outs mowing my lawn fro $8 an hour.

We have had enough of a County Board that caters to every Socialist whim of the immigrant community.

Yeah, Antonsmelly can run his campaign like he writes his Jane Barcroft novels, from FBI Headquarters 9-5 weekdays.

The more Wakefield drop outs the better.

WHAT Socialists? They're no Socialists in Arlington. They're busy causing oil rigs to blow up in the Gulf of Mexico and messing with Wall Street. Don't you ever listen to Rush?

You are so right, Reaganite. It's all one big political PARTY. The Hedoyupublicratics; Gourmet Jay Fisette is our Entertainment Director.

The more drop outs the less likely we'll need trailers around the high schools. Also, growth of Arlington's Creative Class means more servants will be required.

The Socialists are all busy planning earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, and other disasters. They don't have time for little old Arlington County.

How much will Wakefield HS REALLY cost?

Something is definitely wrong when such a high proportion of Wakefield HS 9th graders fail to graduate. Over 10% of Arlington 9th graders fail to graduate, and the ratio in Wakfield is much higher than Yorktown.

School Board's Rx for Wakefield's problems - build a new Wakefield sports - recreation complex with classrooms.
