"Arlington Needs A Tea Party"

Hello Yupette,

Why can't the Tea Party start a chapter in Arlington? No one cares about Arlington's taxpayers. The Civic Federation's budget recommendations only endorsed the County's irrational and irresponsible spending priorities.

Latest Republicrat "welfare for the wealthy" give-away was the expansion of Arlington's Board of Equalization. Why? So Arlington's commercial property owners and developers wouldn't be inconvenienced by delays in appealing their real estate tax assessments. This is the elitist scum that has already received every tax break and give-away imaginable from the County Board.

Has there ever been an analysis done of the maintenance and replacememt costs of the County Board's pet projects - like indoor swimming pools and all-weather soccer fields?

Look at the plans for the new Wakefield HS. The school will be a sportsplex with classrooms, but not enough classrooms for the school's projected population.

Yeah, the School Board will have to pay another million for trailer classrooms to be installed around the school when it's opened.

Analysis? Ask the all male, all white, all North Arlington Civic Federation budget committee. Oh, sorry, they're busy making improvements to Antonelli's latest 'Jane Barcroft' novel and don't have time to do any analysis of Arlington's public infrastructure.

Tea Party? Bunch of agribusiness people who read William F. Buckley's neocon drivel and Wall Street Journal editorials.
