Arlington Chamber of Commerce Sets Agenda for County Board

Recent reports about the Arlington Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors meetings clearly indicate the the Arlington Chamber sets the agenda for the County Board. Therefore, Arlingtonians can expect I-66 to be widened and HOT lanes to be constructed on I-395. The Arlington Chamber's Board of Directors is unrepresentative of the racial, ethic, and economic diversity of Arlington County.

I will go so far as to say BOTH the County Board and Chamber of Commerce are racist and elitist.

I have repeatedly asked the Arlington Chamber of Commerce why Latinas and Latinos are not allowed to be on the Chamber's Board of Directors. There is either no response or the Chamber's President responds by telling us that Latinos and Latinas do not reflect the Arlington Chamber's priorities.

Pretty pathetic that we can't have on-site renewable energy in Arlington because the Chamber of Commerce doesn't want on-site renewable energy in Arlington.

Why can't we have on-site renewable energy in Arlington? Arlington Chamber of Commerce board member Dominion Resources says NO.

The 'Environmental Guy' at the Chamber of Commerce is none other than Sun Gazette Editor Scott McCaffrey who earns mega-bucks for his sleazy publishing company by running ads that promote burning more fossil fuels.

McCaffrey doesn't care if his own neighborhood is becoming gridlocked. He's another one who's outta here on his 60th birthday.

F'ing Repigs don't care if Arlington becomes a parking lot.

Arlington Repigs are getting back to being their old neo-fascist selves.

Rumors and slander orchestrated by the Arlington Republican Party? Hold ACRC Chairman Mark Kelly responsible. He's a lawyer licensed in VA and knows better.

Where's the philanthropy by the wealthy people who are on the Chamber's Board of Directors? They're a bunch of selfish plutocrats.

Yes, hold Mark Kelly responsible. Too many malicious activities have gotten their start at monthly Arlington Republican Party meetings.

Philanthropy? What's that? Arlington taxpayers pay for enrichment for the rich, whether it's a cultural center or school activities for the Yuppie brats who live in 22207.

McCaffrey put three photos of Barbara Favola on the front page of his newspaper this week. Local media is a big joke. More taxes. Ha Ha. More traffic. Ha Ha. More of the same and worse every year. Ha Ha.

McCaffrey is a f'ing squirrel.

Apparently, no minorities were appointed to the Chamber's Board of Directors during the most-recent selection process.

Mark Kelly is also a squirrel. You can contact him about his fellow GOP rodents starting malicious rumor campaigns at: chairman at arlingtongop dot org.
