Several Arlington Residents who contribute to the AY blog attended yesterday's Civic Federation Candidates' Forum.
The only surprise was from Green Party endorsed Independent Charles McCollough, who went after the urban Hipster vote.
No surprises from Erik Gutshall, the Democratic Insiders' hand picked candidate to implement Phase 3 of Smart Growth in Arlington - massive urbanization of both urban and residential neighborhoods to benefit the Democratic Old Guard and Yellow Dog corporate and non-profit crony plutocrats.
No surprises from Audrey Clement. She consistently promoted preservation of workforce housing and reducing taxes through more efficient and less wasteful government during the debate.
Audrey has my vote in November.

Erik Gutshall would make mega millions while on the County Board like the Yellow Dog plutocrats who selected him as their nominee. His company, Clarendon Home Services, would not only convert McMansions into apartment buildings but manage and maintain the McMansion apartment buildings for their absentee owners
Erik, Katie, and Christian would form a County Board majority that could not say no to any demand by their fellow APS soccer parents.
The Urban Hipster lifestyle is getting REALLY old and lame in NYC. Millennials are being priced out and if you don't earn at least $300,000 / year the trendy neighborhoods in NYC are unaffordable. I can understand why Erik, Katie, Christian and others want to keep the Millennial Hipster lifestyle going and growing. Benefits them politically and economically. Your quiet neighborhood the next Millennial enclave? Stay tuned.
The fact that they age going after Amazon makes me certain the County is going to be completely urbanized.

If Amazon is worth $460 Billion, how much payola would the County have to "contribute" to have a good shot at Amazon locating its HQ here?
Katie Cristol is the Hipster from Hell. How many more yoga spas, exercise studios, dog grooming shops, and nail salons can be packed into one tiny county?
Katie Cristol should move back to Princeton.
