All Candidates May Place Campaign Signs on Medians Before Primary Elections

Hello,

We watched Monday's Planning Commission meeting and saw Independent candidate for County Board Audrey Clement make a case for all candidates being allowed to place campaign signs on County street medians before elections and party caucuses. Dr. Clement argued that both Section 13 of the Counnty's Zoning Ordinance and a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision (Reed vs. City of Gilbert, Arizona) allow all candidates equal opportunity to place campaign signs on medians.

Yesterday the County's Zoning Administrator, Arlova Vonhm, confirmed that all candidates may place campaign signs on street medians before primary elections and party caucuses. So we're going to see Audrey Clement's campaign signs before Tuesday's Democratic Primary.

Apparently this has been permitted since the County's sign ordinance was last revised in 2012.

You-know-who put Clement up to this.

Why shouldn't she put her yard signs on medians every chance she has? The Smart Growth shills who control the local media are going to completely ignore her campaign.

Next First Amendment case the Supreme Court should decide is why the ward heelers, nannies, and busybodies who run the Arlington Civic Federation receive preferential treatment from County Government to the tune of tens of thousands of County Staff time spent responding to the CivFed's various demands.

CivFed should go the way of the late un-lamented Arlingtonians for a Better County.

The Civfed's Revenues and Expenditures Committee should do a financial analysis concerning how much it costs the County to do monthly presentations to 30 geezers who live in north North Arlington.

County Government loves the CivFed. Bunch of upscale seniors who do as they are told.

I go out at night and rip in half Guthall signs.

CivFed 'community leaders' are allowing Mazda site developers to trash our Bluemont neighborhoods with traffic. How much does the County spend catering to the demands of this little club?

Erik 'Zimmerman' Gutshall is already doing a CZ-style pay-to-play with upscale developers who pay Erik $500 to have their heat pump's air filter changed.

Erik Gutshall is just like his VIP Democrat supporters. They and/or their spouses receive big $$$ from developers for legal services, real estate services, consulting services, etc.

FYI = Erik hasn't attended Planning Commission meetings so far this week.

What is Planning Commissioner Gutshall's excuse for not attending Planning Commission meetings this week?

"Our dog keeps eating our daughters' homework and we had to help them reconstruct their assignments as best we could".

Oh, I see. Dog ate daughters' homework. He has three daughters. Should prevent him from attending PC meetings the next two months.
