I ran into Christian Dorsey yesterday and he's obtaining petition signatures for a run for Arlington County Board. Heard through a friend in the Green Party that Audrey Clement will run for County Board again.
Chris Dorsey is not the local activist he once was. He works at the Economic Policy Institute, where he analyzes and re-analyzes the disparity between race and ethnic origin and wealth. He also serves on the board of the Arlington Free Clinic and on one of the committees that's planning the Abingdon School renovation, although he lives in North Arlington.
Audrey Clement is running for County Board again. How much coverage her campaign receives from media that are profoundly biased against third party candidates and independents remains to be seen, probably not much.

Christian Dorsey was appointed to Abingdon's Public Facilities Review Committee, which is packed with SUV soccer parents who want to 'Ashlawn' Abingdon's playing fields to provide more parking and drop-off space for themselves and their soccer brats.

With creeps like Scott McCaffrey and Scott Brodbeck running the local media, why does Audrey Clement bother?

There are two Christian Dorseys living in Arlington, one off Lorcum Lane the other off Columbia Pike.
Christian Dorsey IS a 'SUV soccer parent'.
He also serves on the Board of the Leadership Arlington Division of the Arlington Democratic Committee.
Audrey Clement should raise the massive waste of tax dollars on school buses that are almost empty because so many parents drive their kids to school as a campaign issue.
Where does Christian Dorsey live in Arlington?
APS FY 16 budget is presented on February 17th.
Has anyone done a cost analysis of what it costs APS to run a school bus to pick up and drop off 5 kids to their school vs what it would cost to have taxicabs pick them up and drop them off?
Do we want an African-American version of Walter Tejada on the County Board? Not me!
Audrey Clement should ask why APS only wants to hire teachers with Masters Degrees with more than 10 years experience who typically earn more than $75,000 for teaching 10 months.

Scott McCaffrey ignored the independent County Board candidates who were collecting petition signatures at the CivFed meeting last night.
Tonight he'll attend the Arlington Democratic Party's monthly meeting and write an extensive report about all the Democrats who are running for CB...Peter Fallon, Cord Thomas...etc.
Another reason to believe that 'Journalism' is an oxymoron in Arlington.
