Bondi Lists D.C. 'Nonprofit Roundtable' As Only Economic Interest
Hello Yupette,
A perusal of Melissa Bondi's 2012 Statement of Economic Interests, filed with the Clerk of the Arlington County Board on December 13, 2011, shows that Bondi listed the Nonprofit Rountable of Greater Washington, where her position is Project Coordinator, as her only economic interest.
She responded to 'personal interest' questions as follows:
A. My personal interests are:
1. Residence, address, or if no address, location: 2624 Clarendon Blvd, Arlington VA 22201
2. Other real estate, address, or, if no address, location: N/A
3. Name or principal business activity of each business in which stock, bond, or equity interests is held: N/A
Thanks for your blog.

She obviously wouldn't list real estate in Ohio, if she had a lien filed against her personally here.
Most of the Planning Commission, Housing Commission, HALRB, and Economic Development Commission members lie like dogs on those forms.
Isn't Mary Hynes's performance enough for Democrats to not want another Democrat who talks one way and then votes with the other four on the County Board?
Does Bondi list any assets at all?
We don't necessary need a bunch of scrooge mcduck's on the board, but we also don't need a penniless "activist".
Several wealthy individuals who serve on advisory commissions list only their primary residences.
Individual advisory commission members list whatever they feel like listing.
Bondi listed no assets.
How many Arlington residents even bother going to the County Board Office and reading the 100 or so economic interest statements every year? One? Two? Sheesh, people, you have the County Government you deserve.
I spoke with several people who were handing out literature for Bondi last night. She's made promises to special interest groups to extravagantly fund their projects if she's elected to the County Board.
People, please vote for Libby Garvey on Saturday. We don't need a Marion Barry on the County Board!
Did you say Marion Barry? Guess where her campaign workers are coming from? D.C. !!!
Bondi is using people from the Nonprofit Roundtable as campaign workers.
The Democratic Caucus is another corrupt activity of a corrupt Democratic Machine. "Surrogate Voting" is another Democratic Tradition that's being observed.
I do not, DO NOT want a Marion Barry on the County Board!
Ask Melissa's campaign workers which D.C. ward they live in if you vote tomorrow.
Hell, ask your fellow voters if they they are Arlington residents if you vote tomorrow.
Attention Reform Democrats...People were parking vehicles with DC plates in the parking garage over I-66 last night and going into W-L and returning to their vehicles 15 minutes later and driving off.
Marion Barry represents Ward 8.
She's given the bicycle fanatics who want everyone to ride a bicycle everywhere, among other special interest groups, a blank check to be filled in when when she's elected.
If I donate $1000 to Melissa's campaign can I keep a potbelly pig in my back yard when she's elected?
It's not a Caucus...it's a Referendum on the total Yuppification of Arlington.
Why were all those D.C. cab drivers allowed to vote last night?
How much do I have to contribute to Melissa's campaign to be able to keep a small herd of goats in my back yard?
I'm happy to help out a fellow Democrat.
If you see a fellow Democrat from another jurisdiction who appears to be lost trying to find Kenmore Middle School tomorrow, please help him or her out.
I was happy to see that my fellow Latinos and Latinas respected the strong Tradition of the Virginia Democratic Party and refrained from voting last night.
Fellow Dems,
If you voted yesterday and you are surrogate voting tomorrow, be sure to bring the voter ID card and driver's license of the person you are voting for to Kenmore.
Mike
Oh, I get it. It's a Form Based Caucus.
Jose Tajada just robocalled me.
As a public service to my fellow citizens, I hold the line as long as possible to tie up the robocaller and protect my fellow citizens.
Speaking of Urban Village Idiots for Bondi, I received a robocall from Tejada when we were in the middle of supper.
Was just robocalled by Tejada during supper. What a jerk.
As part of her job description as a "Project Coordinator" Melissa interacts with D.C. Council Members, including Marion Barry.
Mike L., Tom C. here...We have a seriously ill Senior in Falls Church who needs a surrogate female voter so she can vote for Melissa. Let us know how we can make it happen.
Where's Inta? She can fix it.
Oh, dear, I wish I could help. I've been too busy fast-tracking another Artisphere, the Black Box Theater on the site of the former Arlington Funeral Home. Item 39 on tomorrow's CB meeting agenda.
I voted for Sims. Kenmore was full of 'friends and family' of the ACDC inner circle who drove in to help out.
Jim Hurysz told Tejada at today's County Board meeting that Arlington progressives didn't appreciate his robocalls at suppertime last evening.
The final vote counts were as follows:
Libby Garvey 1,915 votes
Melissa Bondi 966 votes
Terron Sims 922 votes
Kim Klingler 333 votes
Peter Fallon 178 votes
Kudos to Terron Sims. If energy and perseverance were the criteria for being elected he would have been elected.
The County Board should request that Melissa resign from the Economic Development Commission until her tax problems with the IRS are resolved.
Kudos to Cindy and Susan at A.Y. for keeping the County Board from going Zimmercrat.
Kudos also to Patricia Sullivan at the Post.
How many Latinos and Latinas voted in this caucus? 100? 200?
