Hello,
The redrawn 30th Virginia State Senate District runs along the Potomac River from I-395 to Ft. Belvoir. The 30th District now includes, Crystal City, Pentagon City, Potomac Yards, much of Mark Center, I-395, I-495, Wilson Bridge, National Airport, Route 1, Route 7, and Mt. Vernon Highway. So it would be appropriate for Democrat Adam Ebbin and Republican Tim McGhee to focus on what's important to residents and voters in the 30th. But that's not what their campaigns are about. They're about Tim McGhee and Adam Ebbin and their interests and a few special interests. It's good that Delegate Ebbin was able to obtain a solar energy tax credit for homeowners. But in the context of Virginia being so far behind in renewable energy the legislation was long overdue.
Consequently, we are not endorsing either candidate.

Adam Ebbin is so into the Gay Experience he's almost as mystical as Tim McGhee.
This senate race has deteriorated into a verbal battle over sexual preferences. Thanks for not endorsing either candidate.
Just as I feared would happen when Rob Krupicka was defeated in the Dem Primary - massive battles in Richmond in 2012 over social issues.
TY this senate race is about competing religious belief systems. I live in soon-to-be-megadeveloped Crystal City and I am outraged. What a couple of turkeys.
They have one thing in common, they both worship at the Church of Megadevelopment.
This is what we deserve for letting 30% of the population - Liberals and Conservatives - control the rest of us.
Thanks for telling it like it is with Ebbin and McGhee.
Does anyone else feel that this region is a huge socio-economic bubble that's going to burst soon?
Liberals and Conservatives have been smoking the same controlled substance for decades. It causes them to wage constant war against each other, and we moderates are their prisoners and hostages.
Ebbin should know better, but he conforms to the 'status quo as usual' foolosophy of the local Democratic machines.
Too bad Patsy Ticer supported Libby Garvey's semi-annual campaign for General Assembly.
