Nada Tejada Tiene Mucho Dinero en El Salvador

Hello, Yupette,

I have heard Walter Tejada's life history, how he grew up poor and had "nada" when he arrived in the USA at 13.

That isn't true today. "Nada" Tejada is a wealthy guy, with many investments in El Salvador that aren't reported anywhere except perhaps on his IRS form 1040. Only Jay Fi$tte is wealthier. I have got to wonder how much of his sister cities travel, especially to El Salvador, has anything to do with the sister cities program.

According to several Salvadoran immigrants, Walter Tejada is the "go to guy" for anyone from El Salvador who wants something "facilitated". For which he is well-compensated in various ways.

I have no intention of voting for someone who spends all his time on the County Board looking after his investments, pet people, and pet special interests.

I would be happy to help circulate a petition calling for the creation of an independent inspector general office in Arlington.

Second the motion for an independent IG.

Yes, we need an independent IG. What we need more are media that aren't shills for the status quo.

Exactly what does the sister cities program do that directly benefits Arlington residents, with the exception of county staff employed in sister cities activities and the County Board and County Board's pet people who use this program as an income-generating opportunity?

Fi$$ete uses the sister cities program to boost the revenue of his domestic partner's international consulting firm.

What can you expect when one party runs everything for more than 30 years?

Arlington's Latino/Latina community has Tejada nailed down: 'Nada Tejada, nada por nosotros, todo por los ricos'.

Walter Tejada lives in Dominion Hills when he isn't visiting El Salvador or a Sister City or playing soccer with his amigos. Nearest Latino-Latina neighborhood is about 3 miles away.

Good luck getting any financial disclosure information about Nada Tejada's investments in El Salvador.

Walter better watch his Latino a$$ if he keeps shopping in Westover or the good ol boyz who run Westover will call in a bull$hit 911 complaint about him being intoxicated, shoplifting, or "driving while Latino".

I got news fer ya, after the $hit the County Board pulled on EFC any one of them is gonna get called in to 911 as a 'suspicious person' if seen in Westover.

Think ReitsMinister Kubicki would do any better for our neighborhoods if he were on the C.B.?

Tejada tiene mucho, mucho, dinero en El Salvador.

As a matter of fact, A.Y. DOES have Arlington all figured out - Arlington is all about the Republicrat Elitists inflicting their Elitist bull$shit on the rest of us so we can pay for them to play.

I would definitely support an independent IG. The current County Board doesn't seem to be accountable to anyone for their spending and their actions.

Can someone start a petition for an independent IG for Arlington County Government?

I think Walter Tejada should visit the Forest Inn around 10 PM on Friday or Saturday and explain to the patrons how much East Falls Church redevelopment will benefit them and also tell them he's happy that smoking has been banned from bars and restaurants.

I can see the headline in the Sun Gazette:

"County Board Member Locked in Dumpster for 12 hours"

"Media shills for the status quo"? Surely you're not referring to the Sun Gazette, FC News-Press, Connection Newspapers, Wash Post, etc.?

The media won't support creation of an independent IG, 'cause they're being "comped" by the same people who are comping the pols.

Seen anyone in the media ever give a "thumbs down" to the Arlington Civic Federation aka Society for the Preservation of the Status Quo?

If there is ever an independent IG in Arlington he/she should investigate the County Board's pet non-profits.

Start with Bikeshare.

Tejada has been promoting illegal immigration from El Salvador for more than a decade.

Did you see the County Board meeting with Jim Moran? Tejada doesn't want non-citizen immigrants convicted of felonies deported.

Latest from the sleazy non-profits / for-profits: Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee member and Sun Gazette editor Scott McCaffrey made County Board participation in the Chamber's $50 admission "infomerical" program a condition for endorsing Hynes, Tejada and other Democratic candidates.

Difference between non profits and for profits in Arlington is the $$$$ that would go to owners and investors goes instead to 6-figure salaries all around.

After the IG audits the Sister Cities Program he/she should look at the Economic Development Commission and the Housing Commission.

We have had it with our neighborhoods being destroyed by teardowns and in-fill. Time for Tejada to retire to his rancho deluxe in La Paz.

Conflicts of interest? The Economic Development Commission should be renamed Conflicts of Interest Inc.

What next? Will McCaffrey and the Chamber of Commerce charge citizens to download Zimmerman's "state of the County" speech from the Sun Gazette Web site?

Arlington's middle class is being shut out of everything - housing, entertainment, participation in civic events, even recreation.
