Another Week - Another Scathing Post Report About Metrorail Safety

Hello Yupette,

Looks as though the Metro Station escalator problem is more serious than previously reported. Sixteen Metro passengers were injured. The escalator failure was catastrophic. Meanwhile, out here in Virginia, the Post reports the new Silver Line includes every cosmetic amenity that WMATA Board Member Chris "Lipstick on a Pig" Zinmmerman ordered but excludes basic security features.

I've had it. I won't ride Metrorail again until Chris Zimmerman resigns from the WMATA Board. Let's replace the politricksters on the WMATA Board with transportation professionals.

When Zimmy isn't making excuses for Metro's lack of safety and security he delegates the task to Mame Reiley.

I am all for a boycott of Metrorail until Zimmerman, Graham, and the other WMATA Board Members who have inflicted death and destruction on Metrorail resign.

Yes, next Metrorail accident will claim at least 100 lives.

Thanks to America being the World Police Force and fighting constant wars in the Third World the United States is too poor to care for its own social and economic problems. Your political leaders keep you ignorant of even your own population growth - 30 million every decade.

No one at WMATA, Airports Aurthority, etc., has satisfactorily answered teh question - What happens when all those passengers from Tysons reach the Orange Line at 8 AM weekdays?

Did you see where the rusted, dirty, corroded, worn-out tracks, insulators, switches, sensors, etc., are finally being replaced on the Blue-Orange Lines?

Sixty million population increase in the USA since 1990 --- two million population increase in Virginia since 1990.

I will not ride Metro as long as the Breda railcars remain in service.

Did someone mention Breda? Check out this wonderful company's WW2 aircraft which the Italian Airforce refused to fly.
