New Elementary School - Public / Private Redevelopment of Public Land?

Yupette, it looks like Key School or another public parcel may be redeveloped into a new elementary school with expensive condos sharing the site.

How about Arlington Mill? If there is ground floor retail with a bicycle shop as one of the stores the manager of the bicycle shop won't have the income to live in an "affordable" apartment in the building.

Yes, the development will be called Zimmerman Elementary School and Yuppie Village I.

Next thing for Guru of Gridlock Zimmerman's Yuptard agenda is for the County to lobby for bicycle racks on VRE trains so all the people who live in affordable homes in PW and Spotsylvania will be able to bike to work in Arlington from the Arlington VRE station.

Scott McCaffrey will be all for it. He'll brainwash the sheeple and, after the County Yuptard Board approves the redevelopment steal, his fellow realtors will sell the condos. And Scott will write and print the ads. Just like Nick Moran Benton does in Falls Church.

Just what we need, 200 more crappy condos. :-{

How about tear-downs to build McMansions? Happening right now in Westover.

How about the total destruction of any significaNT amount of open space between McLean and Middleburg? The chain that owns the Sun Gazette wants to see every 10 acre horse farm in Fairfax and Loudoun County developed into McMansions.

The conversion will be Patrick Henry Elementary, another Chris Zimmerman CPRO initiative, something about "give me condos or give me death."

Hey, the 7,987,553 CIA contractors gotta live somewhere. Either a new expensive condo or a new expensive McMansion.

See, I told you that Bin Laden is worth more alive than dead.

The Sun Gazette is so anti-environment it's frightening.

Attention Sun Gazette Advertisers said...

I put the Sun Gazette in the newspaper recycle bin without reading it.

Patrick Henry? Same Patrick Henry who said "Give me a luxury condo or give me a McMansion"?

Don't forget, the Sun Gazette is a Profit Center for General Electric.

How many CIA contractors does it take to locate one Most Wanted Terrorist? Ask Leon Panetta.

Notice Hillary is trying to get us out of fighting a war in Afghanistan and into a war with Iran?

Captain Darryl Dumbass here. Arlington's Poster Warfighter. First Marine Division. Semper Fi. Third World wars are great for Arlington's economy. Let's have more wars in the Third World. Starting with taking out the terrorists in North Korea and Iran.

I would really like to know what the "deal" was between the Arlington Chamber of Commerce delegation that visited Communist China and the Communists.

Anonymous said...

Maybe the Communist Elite needed expert advice regarding condo-izing Shanghai.

McCaffrey and the Sun Gazette's owners will trash anyone who says or does anything to threaten their revenue from real estate ads.

Yes, they are very anti-environment.

Darryl, you warfighters will receive another emergency supplemental for wrfighting - less a few billion for "domestic programs". That means infrastructure for the 310 million people who live in the USA and most of us pay taxes.

Green Guy said...

Yes, Sun Gazette is anti-environment. McCaffrey just ran a feature on the stupid car tax decal. What a waste of money, plus it generates tons of waste paper and plastic unnecessarily.

If you read the NY Times every day you will notice the USA is arming the Israelis to launch a massive air strike against Iran.

Thanks for the Heads Up, Anon., Yahoo News just reported that Mike Hayden thinks the USA will bomb Iran in the near future over nukes.
