Ask Governor Tim 'Dominion Resources' Kaine.

Ask the pols who take campaign contributions from Dominion Resources, Washington Gas, Mirant, etc.

Ask the Arlington County Board, Alexandria City Council, Falls Church City Council, Fairfaz County Board, etc., why they are all excuses when it comes to photovoltaic and solar water heater panels installed on buildings.

Ask Log Cabin Jay Fisette aka Giveaway Jay Fisette why he allows developers to use LEED score charades to avoid installing renewable energy solar panels on new building rooftops.

Answer: Log Cabin Jay always defers to his fellow Republicans Jivin' Jim Pebley and Nanny Nancy Hunt when it comes to building more energy-inefficient, ugly, and expensive post-Modernist buildings in Arlington.

Log Cabin Carrie was/is their mentor.

So many wealthy people and corporations in this little county.

What I think: America wants another Bill Clinton without Bill's bad habits. Notice the price of crude? Everyone will be back to their old bad gas guzzling habits in 2 years. Detroit won't be able to make gas guzzlers fast enough.

fisette told the boy scouts, who expressed concerns about renewable solar not being installed at a recent CB meeting, to go lobby the general assembly in richmond.

The County Board just paid off a greedy Shirlington developer to settle a parking garage dispute to the tune of $1 million. Why would the County Board insist that developers install photovoltaic and solar water heating panels on rooftops?

To be fair, the following appeared in the Arlington Sun-Gazette's News blog on November 19th:

"This is another of the FCA's outrageous attempts to extort money from Shirlington restaurant owners for expensive full-page ads in the FCA's monthly newsletter. The FCA dos not represent me and my community."

Where were John Antonsmelly, Alligator Bob Atkins, Wayne the Pain Kubicki, Jivin' Jim Pebley, Nanny Nancy Hunt, Watch Puppy Wise, and the other Arlington RePigs when the latest $hirlington $teal was going down?

Yupette, when Nanny Nancy Hunt and Fast Eddie Hilz aren't trying to extort money from Shirlington restaurant owners they're trying to extract personal information from Shirlington home owners to pass on to Chief Roscoe Scott and Boss Hogg Zimmerman. Latest is information about Fairlington residents and their household water consumption.

With all the pay-offs and extortion you would think there would be a little spare change left for a solar panel demo project on a new public building.

A.Y. you said good things about John Antonelli in the Sun-Gazette? Whats the deal here?

Oh puleeze, do they think we are irrigating marijuana in our tiny basements? Does Nancy Hunt want to know how often we bathe? Or what?

Anonymous said...

Tracking residents' water usage? This is a joke, right? Nancy Hunt's pals who run the Fairlington Villages condo association just voted to keep a seldom-used swimming pool open.

Wasn't Yupette, perhaps his friend and co-author Karen Murray.

Yupette, regular gas is selling for $1.53 a gallon in Woodbridge. Why would the Dumb Growth dummies who run Arlington want to install solar?

Yupette, everyone in the outer burbs who drives to DC and has decent credit is trading in their old gas guzzler minivan, SUV, pickup, etc., for a new 2008 or 2009. I agree, Americans want Obama to be another Bill Clinton without Bill Clinton's bad habits.

Yupette, can we have a thread about the LEED score charade?

Yupette, what do you know about the Fairlington activists filing legal action against Federal Realty for violating the traffic management plan for Shirlington Village?

Anonymous said...

Yupette, Dominion Resources is spending a fortune upgrading the high voltage transmission lines along the WO & D trail and there is no way Dominion Resources is going to allow any photovoltaic panels on any building rooftops in Arlington.

Actually, checking on people's water consumption IS a way to detect those in Fairlington growing marijuana in their basements. This is exactly the type of situation your civic association should investigate and report to the Arlington Police. Nancy Hunt is the perfect community leader to coordinate this type of activity.

Regarding the Fairlington activists filing legal action against FRIT, it occurred because FRIT was mass-mailing Fairlington urging residents to all drive down and park in Shirlington, in violation of FRIT's traffic management plan.

Yupette, can we have a thread about the Yorktown HS charade?

Ask the Arlington County Board why it did absolutely nothing to help close down the Mirant coal fired power plant which is located just inside Alexandria, 1/2 mile from Arlington.

Drive to Frederick MD and at the intersection of I-70 and I-270 sits BP Solar which has been doing solar research and manufacturing for over 30 years? Result? The only solar panels in Frederick are on the BP Solar building.
