What's the Role of the Arlington Police Department in Yuppie Arlington ???

How do the Arlington Police fit in with Yupublican and Yupicrat Arlington?

Great topic, A.Y.

Near as I can figure the Arlington Police Department does the following:

Facilitates gentrification by harassing minority group members whenever and wherever possible,

Prevents "terrorism" by spreading disinformation about activists, conducts break-ins and illegal searches of activists' homes, illegal wiretaps, illegal PC intrusions, and helps the Feds keep the entire Arab / Muslim population under close and constant surveillance,

Facilitates Yuppie transportation priorities through lax enforcement of traffic laws,

Facilitates the widespread distribution of high quality controlled substances among the Yuppie population by arresting low-level minority street dealers.

The Arlington Police Department also attaches GPS transponders to activists' vehicles so it can track the whereabouts of "Green" activists who want to place ugly solar panels on Arlington buildings and deprive Washington Gas and Dominion Resources of significant future income.

I hear the police breaks into activists house but they are not smart about it as I caught them by noticing unknown pee in my toilet.

The Arlington Police and Feds also turn on lights, open closet doors, turn on faucets, turn on and then not turn off activists' PCs that they've snooped through. They know when activists are home because they have tapped the home phones and cell phones.

The cops / feds can pick even a high security lock in about 10 seconds.

Why do they do this? Because Arlington's Republican Nasties start rumors that are so false and malicious that the cops and feds have to check out the activists' homes via warrantless searches to ascertain that the activists aren't doing what the rumor mongers say. Plus, both political parties hate the Greens, so they are an easy target.

The Arlington police are, by and large, on-the-job retirees, like their good buds in the civic associations who they exchange gossip with. The civic federation regulars are all retirees who do nothing but gossip.

Wonder why all the speed tables were installed on Arlington streets? So the police could stop enforcing traffic laws on those streets, not that they were enforcing the traffic laws before the speed tables were installed.

The Arlington police are Repubs who don't live in Arlington. So if some local Dempublican or Republicrat tells them that an activist is a dangerous terrorist, they believe it. The feds are as brainwashed about terrorism as they were about communism 50 years ago.

Breaking into an activist's home and searching for evidence and leaving little reminders we were there is like Yuppies doing coke in the Clarendon Ballroom. Is is illegal? Yes. But it feels so good when you do it.

What do you expect? Arlington Police Chief Doug Scott was instrumental in gentrifying the poor, working poor, and middle class out of both the Rt 1 corridor and Lorton area when he ran the Fairfax County PD.

This area is run by Dixiecrats and reactionary Republicans who want to give us the same old time segregation they enjoyed as children in lily white suburbs 50 years ago.

Anyone who is a housing, environmental, etc. activist is considered a "communist", "terrorist" and worse by the power elite.

The Arlington Police and the Feds think they are slick breaking into activists' homes. But they are putting their own Federal and local law enforcement officers, and the citizens whose homes they break into, at grave risk of being killed or seriously injured. Chief Scott, how many more times can your officers conduct illegal searches before one or more of them is surprised by an armed homeowner?

Think about it Chief Scott. Think about it, Arlington Commonwealth's Attorney Trodden. Think about plainclothes Arlington law enforcement officers confronting a female Green activist who is home alone when your officers, thinking no one is at home, pick the door lock and enter her home and she confronts them with a knife. What will you do if she is shot and killed by Arlington Police officers conducting an illegal break-in?

Can you spell c-o-r-r-u-p-t? Like Mugabe's police, Putin's police, etc.?

A couple weeks ago, Cindy Sheehan, who is running for Congress in SF against Nancy Pelosi, returned to her hotel room and found a Federal agent in the process of installing a bug in the telephone. LOL.

Arlingon Police are just more urban village idiots.

About time to change the topic?

Look at how many "Cowboy Cops" from other jurisdictions are doing their thing on I-395 in Arlington. How many more shooting incidents will occur on I-395 in Arlington initiated by non-Arlington law enforcement before Chief Doug Scott and Commonwealth's Attorney Richard Trodden say "enough"?

Ever seen the way the DC cops who protect DC VIPs behave in Pentagon City, Crystal City, and on 395?

The cowboy cop behavior will end when innocent bystanders or motorists are hurt or killed.

Know why the Arlington Police Department didn't seek re-accreditaton from CALEA this year? Because a bunch of PO'd people were going to show up at the public meeting and protest the beatings of minority group members, illegal break-ins of green activists' homes, etc.

Want to know what constitutes a major law enforcement operation in Arlington? A homeless man shoplifting a bottle of wine from a convenience store.

Lock manufacturers sell special keys to the Feds and local law enforcement that will open all their high tech locks. Greens are terrorists as far as the Feds and police are concerned. Just as liberals were communists 50 years ago.

Headline in the Washington Post Metro Section on October 8th:

"Md. Police Surveillance Listed Some Activists as Terrorists"

These were activists who attended public meetings and spoke out about various governmental activities they didn't like.

Think the police and feds don't illegally break into and search activists' homes? It's standard operating procedure in NoVa.

Regarding the last comment, I saw between 10 and 15 uniformed and plainclothes members of the Arlington Police Department stalking people before, during, and after the Green Party's lightly-attended demonstration for affordable housing outside 2100 Clarendon Blvd last Saturday morning, before the County Board meeting.

Does anyone know why there are surveillance cameras and police warning lights being installed throughout neighborhoods in the county? (Workers are laying the cabling now around Columbia Pike, near the Penrose neighborhood) Why are tax payer dollars being wasted when most of these areas are already quite safe? More importantly, this is an egregious violation of privacy. Does anyone have any idea what this project is costing the taxpayers? I vote fixing potholes over installing cameras....
