Is Dog the God of Yuppie Arlington?

Several Arlingtonians have asked A.Y. to post this topic. So here it is.

Captain, it appears they are worshiping quadrupeds of inferior intelligence in areas they call "dog parks."

Used to be about 10% of ArlingtonYuppieDogOwners were irrational, now it's about 20%. I won't take "Rover" to a dog park.

That's what happens when the people in charge try to cram as many people and activities as possible into about 10 square miles of Arlington.

I blame Zimmerman, Fisette, and Favola for turning Arlington into Yuppie City.

Yes, I'm voting for John Reeder for County Board.

Yuppie County Board is absolutely to blame for encouraging too many residents to do too much on too little open space. Don't forget to include Ferguson, who with Fisette was a driving force behind creating the dog exercise areas, which generate constant noise and traffic when they are open.

I will not vote for Favola if for no other reason than she approves of the status quo and wants even more in-fill redevelopment.

I agree about 20% of Arlington's dog owners are irrational, compounded by massive redevelopment of areas that were formerly single-family homes.

I also blame the realtors and developers for making Arlington into Yuppie City.

Time to dump Barbara Favola and bring some sanity back into the planning proocess.

There never has been and there never will be nearly enough public infrastructure contribution demanded of the developers as long as the same Arlington Republicrats control everything.

Anyone else noticed that the Infill Idiots who control the Arlington County Board and their Republican Planning Commission appointees are proposing to tear down clusters of single family homes East and North of Little Falls for in-fill condo redevelopment?

Fido Favola has been given years of extensive obedience training by developers and their law firm.

Don't forget Scott "Scooby Doo" McCaffrey, who never saw a redevelopment he didn't want to run expensive full page ads for in the Sun-Gazette.

The Washington Post is by far the worst for promoting in-fill redevelopment without heeding the consequences. Unlike the Sun-Gazette the Post's parent company has income from non-advertising sources, and the Post's Editors know better.

Anyone ever check the disposable incomes of Arlington "dog is God" dog owners? They're on par with the incomes of the aquatics crowd, live theater crowd, and arts crowd.

Arlington Yupette, you are obviously a dog hater. Don't be surprised to hear our puppies playing together in front of your home at 6 AM on weekends.

Dog is My Co-Pilot is obviously a member in good standing of the G.J. "Giveaway Jay" Fisette Chapter of Canine Crazies of Arlington.

Scott McCaffrey has a cat not a dog. How about a thread on Nanny Nancy Hunt. Maybe we can dig up some dirt of her

Scott McCaffrey may have a cat, but he sits up, begs, fetches, etc., for his Chamber of Commerce controllers.

Like John Antonelli and Scott McCaffrey, Nanny Nancy Hunt is another never-married, childless Republican Controller who is rewarded by the Arlington County Republicrat Board for their devotion to trashing anyone who opposes the County Board's status quo agenda. Of course their own personal lives are off limits, but they are more than happy to spread rumors about yours.

I think Nanny Nancy deserves her own thread.

Nancy Hunt is another Urban Village Idiot and Dumb Growth Dumbass who won't raise her voice to get the crumbling streets in her Fairlington neighborhood repaved but will trash anyone in Fairlington who asks the Arlington County Board of Recreation & Gentrification why Fairlington's streets are crumbling and can't be repaved.
