News from the Arlington Voter Registrar's office is that no Republican or third party candidate submitted voter petitions to run for County Board by the close of the polls tonight.
So Audrey Clement will face Mary Hynes and Walter Tejada in the November elections.
Hooray! Finally we have a choice. Someone who is REALLY for the environment. Someone who is fiscally responsible. Someone who CAN and WILL say NO to Chris Zimmerman !!!

Last night proved how corrupt the Democratic Party has become. Any Democrat who wants to act in the interests of the people will be defeated.

Time for an IG's office in Arlington Government. If Fairfax County and Montgomery County can do it - and they have big bureaucracies and nasty political infighting - so can Arlington. Consequently, I'm voting for Audrey Clement.
All Libby! did was to take votes from Rob Krupicka in her home precincts, enabling Adam Ebbin to go to Richmond and wage political war against Ken Cuccinelli. Here is woman who lives in a neighborhood with major league traffic problems on adjoining state highways, poor street lighting, a couple miles of streets that need repaving, crowded and under performing schools, and all she talked about during the campaign were herself and pet political gripes.
Four more years of the County Board spending hours debating restaurant music and seating while our kids get packed into trailer classrooms? No way. Audrey Clement has my vote.
I didn't vote for Adam Ebbin because too much of his time in Richmond is already spent fighting culture wars with the neocons. Then his campaign literature started arriving in the mail and I was totally turned off.
Yes, I am tired of County Government that's in the pockets of corporations that only want more corporate welfare. Finally an opportunity to say no to the Zimmercrats. Audrey has my vote.
