Favola Demanded DHS HQ Relocation

Hi Yupette,

I noticed Chris Zimmerman is suddenly all concerned about Arlington's Department of Human Services Headquarters relocation from Clarendon to Washington Boulevard-Ft. Myer, and its effect on the Pike's low-income families.

In fact, Barbara Fovola DEMANDED that DHS be relocated. Mary Hynes supported Barbara and Jay Fisette went along. Barbara and Mary do not want poor people in the Clarendon-Lyon Village area, something they have not denied. Jay Fisette doesn't like poor people at all, no matter where they live. Zimmerman and Tejada want to 'economically and ethnically cleanse' Columbia Pike. The local media go along - Post, Sun Gazette, News-Press. So do the upscale churches. The DHS move has so far cost Arlington taxpayers $2 million unnecessarily. Zimmerman's ART route change is an interim step before his 'final solution' the removal of the 'mongrel races' from Arlington to 'relocation zones' in the outer-outer suburbs.

YES, Barbara Favola is a Racist and Elitist. As anyone who's had to work with her on human services issues knows.

It's time for a national boycott of Arlington County.

If Zimmeran is so concerned why doesn't he enlist the Pro-Lifers from his parish, Our Lady Queen of Peace, Marymount University, and Bishop O'Connell HS to transport Pike residents to DHS on Washington Blvd.?

'Cause they're too busy lobbying for the rights of human cells and lobbying for keeping human children awake until midnight as the result of O'Connell's and Marymount's lighted team sports complex.

You forgot to mention the paid blog lobbyists for total gentrification of the Pike and Arlington County - Pike Wire and Arl Now.

Favola and Hynes do not deny they wanted the relocation of DHS to keep poor people out of their neighborhoods.

Racist and Elitist? Libby Garvey vetoed any more than a token Latino or Latino receiving a "Teacher of the Year" Award.

Racist and Elitist? Scott McCaffrey vetoed any more than a token Latino or Latina being admitted to membership in the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.

Jay Fisette is the son of a couple of major-league socialites.

There will be an IG for the entire State of Virginia soon, thanks to the VA General Assembly.

As an advocate for the year round homeless shelter for several years, I am truly appalled at the nonsense Favola and Hynes throw out explaining why the cty cannot fund a year round shelter for less than $300,000 annually.

Favola pretends she is an advocate for human services, but this never shows up in budget decisions.

Barbara Favola is an advocate for her pet do-nothing charities. Check out last December's Christmas Gifts for Pet Non-Profits County Board meeting.
