Hello, Yupette,
Do you know how much Boss Zimmerman and the County Board are spending on out-of-state planning facilitators for mega-deals like Crystal City, East Falls Church, and the total gentrification of Columbia Pike? According to a planning staffer, at least $10 million per year. So, if you wondered why library hours that were cut because of 'budget constraints' can't be restored, the County Board's insatiable desire to totally urbanize Arlington via mega-development deals and gifts to pet consultants, facilitators, and design charade hosts is one big reason.

Ten million dollars a year? Hell, Zimmerman spent $10 million this WEEK on facilitating his gentrification-resegregation of the Pike.
Ask Fairfax County resident Barbara Donnellan for an accounting. See what she says.
i KNOW NOTHING...NOTHING
Donnellan and the other county staff don't live here, so what do they care?
Welcome Orlando Planning Department
It's like "Wheel of Fortune" for the mega-developers. Except the wheel is weighted so that they win a fortune and the Arlington sheeple go bankrupt.
Orlando planners? Here's Zimmy's favorite Florida planner-facilitator:
Victor Dover

Includes David Whyte from Kimberly Horn and Associates who lists his fave activities as "mountain bike team" and "road cycling team." Getting paid to promote personal priorities, does it get any better than this?
How many "transportation consultants" did WMATA hire while Chris Zimmerman was on the WMATA Board? Five hundred? A thousand? Fifteen hundred?
Anyone see what has been occurring in the frost belt with the 60's and 70's postmodernist "urban renewal" cube buildings that Zimmerman loves to build here. They're being demolished. Latest is Schenectady City Hall.
Zimmerman is to Arlington what Mubarek is to Egypt. Thirty years of arrogance is enough.
You can call the County Manager's office at 228-3110 and ask for a list of all the consultants hired by the County and the projects they are working on.
I would happily collect 100 signatures on a recall petition to remove Chris Zimmerman from office. This guy lives across the street from a public park and anytime a kid kicks a soccer ball in the park or a couple of teenagers throw a frisbee the police appear. But Mr. Zimmerman wants to impose massive development on my quiet neighborhood of single family homes in East Falls Church.
