Virginia General Assembly Said....

Yupette, here is what the Virginia General Assembly had to say long before "Rolling Thunder" existed. It's in the Code of Virginia.

"It is hereby declared that the protection and preservation of the home is the keystone of democratic government that the public health and welfare and the good order of the community require that members of the community enjoy in their homes a feeling of WELL-BEING, TRANQUILITY, and PRIVACY"

Who are you so-called "Patriots" waking up at 2 AM with your motorcycles?

An operations officer who just finished working 12 hours on Afghanistan operations planning at the Pentagon.

A Predator operations officer at the CIA.

A Coast Guard officer who is part of the team at the White House dealing with the BP oil leak.

And so on....

End Rolling Thunder. There is no respect for those of us who are dedicating our lives to making our nation safe and free.

Well your own Virginia law enforcement don't care so why should us bikers from Kentucky?

I have a right to peace and tranquility in my home. End Rolling Thunder.

FYI, the Washington Post and local papers are real good at "gotcha" journalism. That is they let bad behavior build for a long time and come down real hard on the organizations where the bad behavior occurs. Maybe it's time for Rolling Thunder to do something about the 5% who are causing 95% of the problems on Memorial Day.

Tea Party did the same last year, only they drove SUVs. Nobody has the 'right' to drive a motorcycle or SUV 90 mph on I-395, weaving in and out of traffic.

Peace and tranquilty in my home is MY RIGHT, not a privilege to be revoked by every a-hole organization that visits DC.

Move Rolling Thunder to Virginia Beach. It would be a win-win-win. It's a resort area with a huge military presence and historic areas are nearby for commemorative events.

Great idea, USN.
