Twenty Five Years of Yuppies

Yes, 25 years of us. Isn't that wonderful? Just think what we've accomplished over the past 25 years. McMansions, Hummers, Second and Third Homes, Extravagance, Hedonism. Much of that accomplished right here Arlington. Will the last middle class person out of Arlington please turn out the lights before your affordable home is torn down?

We've had an all Yuppie County Board of Supervisors for what? Ten years? Yet a few insipid middle class neighborhoods remain. Did you ever see such a glut of expensive condos? And more on the way. What the County needs is a good Hummer dealer.

Hi Arlington Yupette,

Please settle a question I and my grrlfriend have long discussed. Who is the author or authors of the Jane Barcroft mystery novels? My grrlfriend thinks the author is a local journalist. I say the person is someone unknown. Who is "Jane Barcroft?"

Kelli, Jane Barcroft is Karen Murray, a massage therapist who lives in the Barcroft neighborhood. Karen was assisted in her endeavour by John Antonelli, a local big-mouthed bully and cop wannabe who is employed by the U.S. Justice Department.

I met them both several years ago. She looks like a horse, smells like a goat, and talks like a truck driver. He smells like a pig, eats like a pig, and acts like a pig.

Hi Arlington Yupette,

Would you please start a new thread about Virginia's biggest YupPig, Tim Kaine?

Antonelli is a pretty dangerous guy. He works for the FBI and spreads lies and false information about Arlington residents he dislikes. Do the Arlington Police know what a malicious busybody Antonelli is?

Arlington cops know and like Antonsmelly. Chief Doug Scott helped Kate Hanley gentrify the undesireables out of the Rt 1 corridor and Lorton area when she was
Chair of the Fairfax County Board and Scott was Chief of the Fairfax County Police Department. It's all about gentrification of non-Yups out of Arlington.
