All About Yuppie Arlington
Chris Zimmerman is an economic refugee from Rockefeller, New York, and consequently has a thirst for extravagant spending to build his public infrastructure empire - using taxpayers' money, of course.
The five of them are like any number of big-spending suburban Virginia families. Only they spend our money on their extravagances. They think they are so superior, but they are just alike any other suburban spendthrifts These are the people we elect to represent us and look out for our interests.
Ponzi Scheme is exactly right. They are spending every dime they take in from taxes, borrowing, and stealing from operating budgets and maintenance and renovation budgets to pay for pet projects. That goes on for years until they can't tax, borrow, and steal from budgets any longer to fund pet projects.Wake up, Arlington.
Yes, the Cultural Center should be a wake-up. County Government is a classic Ponzi scheme.
I think they're just stupid. Especially Zimmerman.
How did we get representaed by five people, only one is gainfully employed, and that is a no-show job?
I think Hynes and Favola have no-show jobs. Fisette, Zimmerman, and Tejada are unemployed and spend their days thinking up new pet projects to benefit their pet people.
County Board and its pet special interests is just like Madoff and his associates. Only difference is the taxpayers get scammed rather than investors.
It is beyond obvious that Chris Zimmerman is a reckless incompetent. How about a thread on that topic?
After you do a thread about that lying incompetent, Zimmerman, do one on Slimy Scott McCaffrey and his sleaze newspaper company, American Community Newspapers. Go to the Historic Vienna blog first, they have Snotty figured out.
McCaffrey just published a warning about the drop in Arlington's commercial real estate market 3 days after he stood by and allowed the County Board to vote for the extravagant give away of tax dollars for the Rosslyn Cultural Center. What a Turkey.
Did anyone else notice that the people who spoke against the cultural center were from across the political spectrum?
