Only Federal Law Enforcement Can Stop Zimmerman's Streetcar from Hell

Hello, Yupette,

I have HAD IT with the waste, mismanagement, and fraud being perpetrated upon Arlington residents, taxpayers, and voters by Chris Zimmerman and his County Board cronies, Jay Fisette, Mary Hynes, and J. Walter 'Nada' Tejada. And their corporate cronies, the developers and REITs, who are funding the entire Pike transit fiasco with their payoffs, kickbacks, and graft.

I, and many others, DEMAND that not only the USDOT Inspector General investigate and audit the entire Pike Transit System but the U.S. Attorney's Office and Commonwealth Attorney's office also investigate the Zimmerman Regime's criminal activities, which range from the County Manager's PR Team intimidating local media from printing information about bus alternatives to Zimmerman's trolley folly, to the pay-to-play "consulting" activities of Jay Fisette and Chris Zimmerman, to the tens of thousands in cash that were stuffed into envelopes and handed out as "party favors" last week during the U.S.S Arlington festival.

ENOUGH of the gifts, gimmes, gratuities, grifters, grafters, corporate welfare, payoffs, and kickbacks. Time to send Zimmerman to Allenwood, where he will be, for once in his life, employed earning an honest living, milking cows at 5 AM on the prison farm. Hopefully with the assistance of Jay Fisette and Nada Tejada.

Memo to the U.S. Attorney and FBI - Second offices to raid are their corporate cronies offices at 2901 Clarendon Blvd.

Speaking of the U.S.S. Arlington commissioning, who or whom packaged all those $20, $50, and $100 bills into party favor envelopes and delivered them to the appropriate VIP "decision makers"? Quite an undertaking.

Waste, mismanagement and fraud? Like the $24 million they were meaning to spend on their 'public art' bus shelter giveaways to their pet Greenpublicrats and pet special interests?

I think you meant 2101, Anon.

The author of this article just got a standing ovation from me! Absolutely nailed it with a great big hammer! Bravo!

Time is overdue for a Pro-BRT meeting, moderated by Yupette. Local media County Board-Chamber of Commerce shills not invited. That's you, $cott, Ja$on, $teve, etc....

Does anyone know which developer they picked to redevelop Lacey Woods Park? And how much it cost the developer in "consulting fees"?

Anonymous said...

Did you notice a couple of the local media shills did not challenge the assertion that the County Manager's Office aka Diana Sun censors their blogs?

Meanwhile across the border, Alexandria City Council just allowed JBG to replace the garden apartments around Mark Center with luxury housing and hugely increase the density.

Lacey Woods Park redeveloped into soccer fields and McMansions? How come nothing is heard from the Green Party about all the nature centers being sold to the developers? They all live in Westover.

Streetcar from Hell? Ask the bicyclists in Portland about streetcars.

Who benefited from the Pike bus shelter rip off? A classic Democratic Machine pay-to-play taxpayer scam.

Federal Law Enforcement is too busy apprehending the Yuptards' brats who are running amok.

Ain't that the truth!

Zimmy's Propaganda Minister Diana $un just gave $cott and Ja$on a spanking and told them to run her County Manager-County Board approved pro-streetcar press releases...or else.

Federal Law Enforcement is still too busy trying to apprehend one Yuptard brat who's run amok.

Great to see so many PO'd Arlingtonians calling for the Feds to audit the entire transit system.

When will America's annual Spring Violence Youth Festival end? It's gone on way too long this year.

Anonymous said...

Agree that the Feds should audit all the transit projects that receive federal funding in Arlington.

America's annual Spring Violence Youth Festival aka Spring Break from Hell.

Want proof the the local media are county board / chamber of commerce shills? Scott McCaffrey didn't stick around at the CB meeting yesterday to cover the neighborhood conservation plan for his own neighborhood. Duh.

Can we have a link to the CBS News report about the bus shelter fiasco? Not everybody has been totally brainwashed by the County Board's propaganda machine.

Oh, the condo associations in Fairlington have to maintain street trees because there are no funds in the County's budget. Gee I wonder how that happened.

Agenda Item 22 to be heard on Tuesday - No bid contract for $1 million to replace synthetic turf and build a semi-professional soccer facility at Barcroft Park.

They are talking about saving mature trees in Arlington National Cemetery? How many mature trees will be removed in the nature centers they will sell to developers?

What does everyone outside 2100 Clarendon Blvd. think about Pike transit waste and mismanagement?

Why be nice to the County Board and County Staff and their neighborhood and media 'facilitators' who are massively ripping us off or helping to rip us off?

Anonymous said...

Lacey Park? Same for-profit developers who are bulldozing thousands of trees into pavement on the I-95 median for HOT Lanes.

Everyone is all concerned about trees being cut down in Arlington National Cemetery? How about the THOUSANDS of trees that will be cut down for soccer fields and McMansions if Arlington taxpayers allow the County Board to sell Arlington's parks to developers?

Ain't that the truth! I've lived in Arlington since 1956 (my parents moved here when I was an infant). I've seen so many decent and perfectly fine houses that might have needed some interior work torn down and replaced with monsters twice as large that tower over all the other houses in the neighborhood. The park at N. George Mason between N. 14th and Washington Blvd. is an example of taking an area that should have remained parkland (maybe some fixing up/trimming, but a park area for the neighborhood) ripped out and about 6-8 McMansions are replacing them. The "Arlington Way" (gag me with a spoon) is to sell the whole farm to the developers and let them do whatever they please....just as long as the right people receive "donations". I wish Arlington voters would wise up and vote out everyone on the Board and replace them with sensible and balanced people who would keep developers in line, not spend a fortune on foolish vanity projects and not be so full of their elitist LINO (Liberal in Name Only) selves. Sort of like the Dems, Pubs, and Independents I remember from the sixties even into the 80s. Those people were balanced, sensible, reasonable and didn't give "democrats" and "liberals" and "progressives" a bad name.

FYI - The entire Green Party leadership (state and local) lives in Westover, knows about the proposed parks giveaway to developers (with a developer contribution of synthetic surface soccer fields and 'donations' to County Board members) and has said nothing. We don't have a Republicratic Party running and ruining Arlington, it's the Greenpublicratic Party.
