Voice-Action Meeting - Audrey Clement is the Only County Board Candidate Truly Committed to Affordable Housing

Hello, Yupette:

I am an Episcopalian and am committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ as related in the New Testament.

I attended the Voice Action affordable housing meeting at St. Mary's Church today.

Audrey Clement was the only County Board candidate that did not talk about her faith and herself, but talked what she and the Arlington Green Party have done and are trying to do for the homeless and to build and renovate truly affordable housing in Arlington.

So, I'm voting for Audrey on Tuesday. You should too.

God Bless,

Janet

Thanks, Janet, I heard Audrey's impassioned speech for all those Christians just trying to survive here. For two decades Libby Garvey said nothing and did nothing about affordable housing being converted into expensive housing. Did you know that neo-con Mark Kelly is asking for campaign contributions from developers who make millions gentrifying the middle class out of Arlington. What a couple of Republicrat sleazes.

Audrey Clement is of, by, and for Christian values. Libby Garvey and Mark Kelly are all about their own "value system" whatever that might be.

What the heck is 'Voice Action' and where have they been for the past 10 years?

I will vote for Audrey. Her message is all about what she will do for us.

Yes, Mark Kelly takes big campaign contributions from developers.

Libby Garvey watched Fairlington go from affordable to totally unaffordable and said and did nothing.

The meeting at St. Mary's was of, by, and for upscale middle aged and elderly white people.

The leaders of Voice appear to be elderly white residents of affluent racially and ethnically segregated neighborhoods who grew up in affluent racially and ethnically segregated neighborhoods 50-70 years ago.

County Board's pro-gentrification ward heelers attended and they were not happy. Audrey got cut off because the Elitists did not want to hear any more about what she would actually do to increase affordable housing that's actually affordable; they wanted to hear Mark and Libby blather.

Where did the Elitists think up Voice? Ha Ha at Ri Ra?

Neither Kelly nor Garvey attends church services in Arlington.

Chris Zimmerman, Mary Hynes, and others in power have attended church services at Our Lady Queen of Peace for decades.

I would like to know where the people behind Voice are coming from. Because there were about a dozen minority group members in attendance out of 250 persons who attended yesterday.
