'Fiscal Responsibility' Wins 9-Month Term On County Board

Congratulations to Fiscal Responsibility, which won a 9-month term on the Arlington County Board today, narrowly edging Lexus Liberal Libby Garvey.

Fiscal Responsibility will enjoy a short tenure on the County Board, until an expected heavily-Democratic vote for Obama-Kaine-Moran in the November elections.

After January 2013, promises made behind-closed-doors to parents and special interests by Libby Garvey during the closing weeks of the March 27th County Board special election will end Fiscal Responsibility's term on the County Board. Libby will support the Pike streetcar and the current County Board's other pet projects and special interests. The cost of Libby's promises made to PTA insiders for elementary sports-recreation-community-education centers alone amounts to more than $300 million.

Libby will defeat Fiscal Responsibility on the County Board in January 2013 by trading hundreds of millions in tax revenue for parent and special interest votes Libby received in the March and November elections.

Thanks to Fiscal Responsibility for running for County Board in today's Special Election.

Don't bother Libby. She's being indoctrinated in County Board practices, procedures, and protocol on Planet Zimmy.

Machine Democrats were all out at the polls today supporting Libby and their continued wheeling, dealing, and stealing.

Based solely on Libby's numerous promises she made to get elected, Arlington WILL lose its AAA bond rating.

I loved it when I voted at the Fairlington Community Center this morning and a Green Party guy who was passing out Clement literature pointed out to voters standing in front of Libby that S. Stafford Street is a G-D mess and then pointed to the street.

Democratic regime made a huge effort to preserve itself and its massive social-corporate welfare agenda.

Expect Garvey to support all of the County Board's priorities in return for the Democratic machine's support.

County Government was supposed to change for the better when Mary Hynes was elected. It's worse.

Another charade election. What happens when a regime has been in power for decades. Regime leaders and their special interests become increasingly frightened of losing their wealth and power.

Next 9 months will be a farce. She will vote against their vanity projects, they will vote for the Taj Mahal school projects she promised her PTA cronies.

When are the bond rating firms going to wise up about Arlington?

Democrats frightened of regime change? Obviously. Why else would they be stealing hundreds of thier opponents' campaign signs?

Libby has lived in Fairlington for 35 years and could care less about her own community. The civic association and all the condo associations are in the Democratic Machine's pockets, they don't dare say a word about Fairlington's Third World streets because Libby and her ward heelers spread rumors like rats spread the plague in Europe during the 14th Century.

Libby..nice wig. Could you please tell us what the 5-year survival rate is for the kind of breast cancer you've been treated for?

Audrey Clement is also a cancer survivor.

Big Bikeshare meeting also at 7 PM at GMU-Clarendon. How much will Libby and the rest give them this year? How about fixing the streets before bicycle riding becomes mandatory?

Zimmercrats want Arlington to be like the Upper East side of Manhattan. You park your expensive vehicle in a garage and drive it once a month.

Bicycles are another Yuppie diversion. Most sold in Arlington are meant for racing over smooth roads. New bicycles sold in the Yupscale neighborhoods start at $400. Bicycle store owners don't care who gets hurt on bad pavement.

Tens of thousands of Arlington residents can't and/or won't ride bicycles in Arlington. Especially if the streets and roads continue to deteriorate.

They want us to ride bicycles 24/7/365 --- total nut cases.
