Mark Kelly Reported Ready to Announce for County Board

Hello, Yupette,

I heard from a couple of Neo-Con activists that Mark Kelly is going to make another run for County Board. Looks from his recent statements he's going to run. The Neo-Cons who control the Arlington Republican Party are all for one or two candidates running against Mary Hynes and Walter Tejada. Moderate Republicans are only interested in getting wealthy in Arlington's current mega-development economy. Thanks for your blog.

Ted

Mark should do everyone a favor and move to McLean and live near his NeoCon friends.

Another reason I'm voting for Audrey Clement for County Board.

There is one-party government in Arlington - The Republicratic Party.

Based on the deal he made with Zimmy, Nanny Newsie Scott McCaffrey is gonna endorse Favola, Garvey, Hynes, and Tejada.

Zimmerman is cementing a long-lasting relationship with the Arlington Chamber of Commerce while preparing to run for Jim Moran's seat in Congress.

Yes, there is one political party in Arlington - and they want anyone who doesn't earn at least $200,000 a year out.

Last couple of months Mark's been encouraging his wealthy neo-con buds from McLean to sue Arlington County over Bishop O'Connell HS athletic field lighting. What a jerk.

Mark and Barbara Favola should both move to McLean. They will be much happier.

Thumbs down to Barbara Favola and Mark Kelly for their continued lobbying for college sports in our neighborhood.

I am sick and G-D tired of people who don't live in Arlington making so many important decisions for those of us who do.

O'Connell's lawsuit against Arlington because the County Board voted to preserve a suburban quality-of-life in the neighborhood near O'Connell was initiated by (who else) Fairfax County residents.

Thirty years of Neocons. Enough. They've done nothing but get the USA into one Third World war after another, outsourced tens of millions of jobs and allowed tens of millions of illegals into the USA to compete for whatever jobs are left. Throw the bums out. Throw the tea party bums overboard.

The County Board has totally handed over this County to non-residents, starting with the County Manager. Mark Kelly would serve the interexzts of the McLean Neo-Cons who are making Arlington into a total redevelopment zone.

They are ALL RePigs. Zimmerman is the biggest RePig.

What does Zimmerman care? He's in the Ukraine having a good old time via the Sister Cities Politician Party Program.

Yeah, the pols who live here handed county government over to non-residents so they can party in the sister cities. Betcha there are a dozen sister cities by 2016.

Yes, the County Board has handed over county government to non-resident staff who make mega-urbanization deals with non-resident developers and REITs which the County Board then rubber stamps at County Board meetings, which are configured to allow the County Board to pursue its own interests (notice how many major league items are placed on the consent agenda).

Did you see the latest PR about "preservation"? County Board wants to TRY to preserve 22 older historic properties out of hundreds. We are nothing but a "redevelopment opportunity" for wealthy real estate speculators.

Appears that Mark has too many family and work commitments to run this year, much as many in ACRC want him to run.

All the development and redevelopment is doing to this county is making us an expensive mess.
