CPRO 'Bent out Of Shape' About Pike Redevelopment Critics

Hi Yupette,

FYI, CPRO (Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization) is getting all bent out of shape about anyone who opposes the massive redevelopment of the Pike, via the form-based code or otherwise. To the point that CPRO will smear anyone who questions the quality-of-life impacts of form based redevelopment on South Arlington.

Please be aware there will be a meeting at the Shirlington Library om April 7th to discuss the parking and traffic mess arising from Shirlington redevelopment. We don't need any more traffic from thousands of new parking spaces in South Arlington.

Thanks for your blog, and keep wearing that Trader Joes bag!.

Understandable why the blogs that solicit advertising from form-based Pike retail and restaurants won't adequately report meetings like Monday's site plan review committee meeting that was run by Jay Fisette's, Mary Hynes's, and Barbara Favola's neighbors.

Traffic on S. Walter Reed Drive at rush hours is getting pretty bad. This is the other side of Douglas Park from where Zimmerman lives.

Traffic? What traffic? I don't notice any traffic. If you troublemakers moved to Prince William County and found employment there we would have less traffic. Don't like Chairman Zimmerman's mixed use redevelopment of the older neighborhoods? Move away.

Why don't you Urban Village Idiots take your form based yuppification to where it's desperately needed - Route 1 south of Ft. Belvoir?

Better yet, Route 1 north of the Beltway.

Reistfuhrer Zimmerman funnels county funds to CPRO and controls the executive director position, subject to consultation with developers. Zimmerman installs as CPRO Board Members John Snyder and Juliet Hiznay and then instructs them shut up the opposition, using these ward heelers to direct the censoring of neighborhood listservs. Then Zimmerman claims CPRO gives the County independent input from a diverse group -- a total scam.

Interesting that the Pike Wire blog can't cover Pike redevelopment meetings but can publish CPRO's wish lists for restaurants and retail and attacks on anyone who doesn't go along with the Zimmerscam-CPRO agenda.

Chairman Zimmerman for Congress. Save the PIke, Save Arlington, Save Virginia, Save America.

Same Christopher Zimmerman who resigned from the WMATA Board one step ahead of a federal grand jury?

Post had enough about Zimmy's raiding Metrorail's infrastructure and safety funds for cosmetic fixes to make for weeks of interesting reading, had he not resigned.

We want Dr. Dremo on the Pike. We want Dr. Dremo on the Pike. We want Dr. Dremoon the Pike.

Dr. Dremo? I was there once. Surprised the Health Department allowed the place to remain open.

CPRO controls Pike Wire.

Yep, Zimmy is running for Congress. 'Course he has beat Brian Moran and maybe a couple others in a Dem Primary first.

Dem Party controls the Arl Now, aka Arl Way, blog.

Yes, if you name names (e.g., Jay Fisette's promotion of the Artisphere is totally irresponsible) you will not be allowed to post on Arl Way.
