Vote NO to Reitsfuhrer Zimmerman's Parks Bond Taxpayer Rip Off

Hi Yupette,

Have you seen the Vote Yes for Park Bonds signs on the streets? Well. the signs were paid for by Boss Zimmerman's pals who want the 2010 bond fund revenue to be put into the parks bond slush funds with previous bond revenue. These park bonds don't go for parks that benefit everyone - they go to Zimmerman's, Fisette's, etc. pet vanity projects.

Please vote no to more of Reitsfuhrer Zimmerman's taxpayer rip offs on November 2nd.

I second that - Zimmerman is an arrogant crypto-fascist pig. Why doesn't he campaign with Patrick Murphy?

Zimmerman thinks he's another Albert Speer. But he's actually another Colonel Klink.

A vote for these bonds will be a vote for years more taxpayer subsidies to the Artisphere from the parks bond slush funds.

Regarding bond funds, why aren't citizens informed how much bond money is being spent, when it's being spent, and where it's being spent?

Before I vote for any more County-issued bonds I want to know where the funds are being spent.

Speaking of REITs, I am disgusted with a County where an out of state real estate trust and it's out of state law firm work with County Staff who don't live in the County to put together a mega deal that rips off County residents and taxpayers. That is not the first this that has happened.

I am afraid the parks bonds funds will be put in a slush fund to keep the Artisphere afloat.

I think you meant Patrick Murray, Terri. I'm voting for Kevin Chisholm because we can't afford 4 more years of Zimmerman and the Republicans ARE the developers.

Yes, we can't afford four more years of Chris Zimmerman.

You forgot to mention the news media, who are out to help the pols gentrify out every family that doesn't have a household income of at least $200,000.

There will be another big REIT steal when EFC is redeveloped. Another TIF? I would not be surprised.

County Mismanager Barbara Donenothing was asked for information about Artisphere finances at Tuesday's County Board meeting and replied "We're working on that".

Artisphere is another project that primarily benefits the REITs that own Rosslyn.

I work at 2200 Clarendon Blvd. The County Board spends at least half its time in its offices meeting with out-of-state REITs and developers and their lawyers.

I am voting NO to any more money being used to redevelop our supposedly "public" parks for the exclusive use of non-profits and for-profits.

Parks around here (Douglas Park) are off limits to redevelopment-privatization. I wonder why?

I am voting NO for more "canyonization" of Arlington and the redevelopment of public parks into paved and lighted soccer-lacrosse-field hockey arenas.

Arlington County Citizen arrived with a full page of bond propaganda. ACDC told DC to kill the pro/con format found in multiple party jurisdictions. We need to target County propogandists -- great cost savings opportunity as well.

If the park bond passes let's get behind an initiative for a waterpark and live enterntainment venue in the parkland at the corner of South 16th St and S Quincy St. After all, not enough of the money is going to South Arlington.

"County Propagandists?" You mean Arlington's Minister of Propaganda, Diana Sun, and her staff of 14 in the County Manager's Office?

Diana Sun's official title is: "Reitsminister for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda".

Zimmerman is Arlington's Reitsfuhrer. Fisette is Arlington's Slush Puppy.
