Moran's Expensive Constituent 'Newsletter', What a Hoot.

How much did the taxpayers pay to produce, print, and mail Congressman Moran's lavish constituent brochure? BTW, Congressman, the photo of Key Bridge on the back cover was taken in the District of Columbia.

House rules allow corrupt election mailings until 90 days before voting date. Jim Moran has never been able to resist a corrupt opportunity.

I just LOVE Moran's description of the wonderful Obama-Pro Life health care reforms which will, in fact, reduce the number of persons in the 8th without health insurance from 100,000 to 50,000.

Similarly, Pro-Life defeated any meaningful Wall Street / financial services / banking reforms using last minute stalling tactics by Pro-Lefe senators.

Any real Progressive would have to be politically obtuse to try to get any comprehensive reforms through the idiotic U.S. Senate unless and until the U.S. economy crashes and burns. What we've had for the past 18 months is the New Democrats vs. the Neo Conservatives, and none of them gives a rat's a$$ about anything but furthering their respective ideologies.

Check loc.gov/thomas for the bills Moran has sponsored. What he's sponsored is totally inadequate to meet the 8th Districts needs. Seems he's more concerned with the needs of special interest groups than his constituents.

What would Prolifer Murray do? Send billions more for warfighting and killing in Iraq and Afghanistan while promoting the ProLife agenda in Congress.

Yes, Moran vs. Murray is another New Democrat vs. Neo Conservative lose-lose for America. Fortunately we have another choice - Captain Ron Fisher.

Moran claims the BRAC office complex at Mark Center should never have been constructed. What has he been doing the past five years since it was approved and since planning and construction began? Waiting until the buildings neared completion to tell the Feds (and the people who live near Mark Center) that it was a bad idea? Why is this guy still in Congress?

The billions being spent on "National Security Underground Infrastructure" in the 8th CD would be a hoot if Metro's 2-track subway system weren't so pathetic.

Yo, looks just like the Alumni Newsletter from Yuppingham College

So Moran was finally named Chairman of the Interior Appropriations Subcommittee? Wonder if that had anything to do with the death of his good bud, John Murtha?

Reads like the annual report for Yupford Ridge (formerly Gopher Ridge) an exclusive gated community in the beautiful Berkshires.

The billions being spent on secret tunn....err....National Security Underground Infrastructure in the 8th CD could easily rebuild Metro into a first class transportation system.

How about Patrick Murray? Spewing the same NeoCon war fighting drivel as Perfessor Newt Gingrich 20 years ago.

Yeah, if you notice the neocons are into the same old just say no foolosophy for everything except more warfighting as Perfessor Newt, Dick Armey, Tom Delay, etc., were pushing in Congress 15 years ago.
