Who Defends the Rights of Citizens to Sign Petitions?

Hi Yupette,

I am employed by Arlington County. I also signed the 'change of government petition'. We have a right to sign petitions, afforded to us by the U.S. Constitution. Who would I contact if I am demoted or fired for signing the petition?

Kim - DHS

Easiest and quickest thing to do is to go to the Virginia Attorney General's Web site and file a complaint.

Kim,

You should contact:

Mr. Kenneth Cuccinelli
Attorney General
900 East Main Street
Richmond VA 23219

(804) 786-2071

Hope this helps.

Don't bother calling the Commonwealth Attorney's office - they're too busy defending the Arlington police against excessive use of force charges by the homeless and minorities.

'Cooch' is too busy trying to prove that Global Warming is a Socialist plot.

Change the Government. That's what the Tea Party is all about. Meetup is at Stars and Bars Patriot Harley in Leesburg every Wednesday at 7 PM. Information? Ask for Snake in the Parts Department.

Hi, there's serious harassment of the people who are gathering signatures. Won't stop us.
