Don't Want HOT Lanes? Stop Approving More Parking!

Hello, Yupette,

If the County Board is so hostile to HOT Lanes, why is the County Board on a roll to approve a lot of commuter parking spaces via new site plans this year?

Yuppette,

Chris Zimmerman is the longest serving board member on the Metro board.

First we have the Courthouse upskirt pervert, where Metro acknowledged the problem and didn't do anything about it. Now there is a Metro EMPLOYEE hitting on a 16 year old girl!!!

Zimmerman couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag.

County Board will approve 636 new parking spaces in just three site plans, during CB meetings last month, this week, next month.

Which projects are they?

Zimmerman is only competent and capable when it comes to raising taxes, fees, and fares.

The East FC Metro station development, the 1900 Wilson Blvd. development, and the development on Lee Hwy opposite Cherrydals Safeway

I work in retail in Clarendon. Why do I have to drive to Arlington from Woodbridge? Why can't I live in an apartment over the store where I work?

Looks like WMATA headquarters employees who work in admin. will not be able to live in affordable apartments at the EFC Metro station, but will also have to drive into DC from Prince William County via HOT lanes. Zimmerman is not only totally incompetent but totally irresponsible.

Planning Staff say there will be no affordable housing on-site at 1900 Wilson Blvd. Site plan goes to the County Board on Saturday.

Favola and Fisette are completely hostile to the middle class living in yupscale communities

Hey Fastimes,

I heard you have been trash talking me and the Metro Board.

How dare you.

I am beloved by children and and hero of the elderly.

I'm going to evict your crack mother from the slums.

Signed,
Your Civil Servant

Hero of the Elderly?

Humbug!

Chris Zimmerman is a public menace along with the other four on the County Board who are attempting to drive everyone who is middle class and on a fixed income out of Arlington.

Why does the new development at the EFC Metro station "need" 271 parking spaces?

McCaffrey's Chamber of Commerce fellow Board members are (again) using Scott and his newspaper to go after the County Board for suing the State of Virginia over HOT Lanes.

Don't these people realize we would be deluged with traffic from BRAC construction and HOT Lanes?

McCaffrey doesn't care about traffic in his own neighborhood 1/2 mile from I-395 and located at S. Walter Reed Drive and S. Beauregard St.

Almost all Chamber Board members live in North Arlington.

Sun Gazette gets its editorial direction from Leesburg HQ. What do you think people in Leesburg think about HOT Lanes?

See the Post today? DC metro area's population is increasing. Duh. It's been increasing for a decade. Where's the new public infrastructure? Oh, it's being built with billions of our tax dollars...in Afghanistan.

McCaffrey got bent out of shape at today's County Board meeting because an activist noted that Scott is a) a licensed real estate agent b) serves on the Board of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.

If McCaffrey doesn't like being called a realtor why does he have a real estate sales license?

Scotty's been increasingly strange ever since his cat died last year.

Scotty is spending too much time with Chamber of Commerce neo-cons when he isn't spending too much time on-line with Free Republic neo-cons when he isn't editing drafts of Antonelli's 'Jane Barcroft' novels. So give the guy a break.

Donna said...

Scotty is such a piece of Chamber of Commerce flunky $#!+ that he would allow the "business community" to completely gridlock his own BRAC-impacted neighborhood with traffic if that means he gets to stay on the Arlington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Pikester said...

Anyone know what the plot of Antonelli's next "Jane Barcroft" novel is? I hear it's being circulated among Republicans for comments.

Ask Antonelli's editor, Scotty. Or Antonelli's ghost writer, Karen Murray, who posts on Scotty's blog as "La Belle Dame Sans Merci".

CB Watcher said...

McCaffrey, Antonelli, and Murray are really creepy. Scotty not only went ballistic after being called a "realtor" at Saturday's CB meeting but denied he has a real estate license.

No, they are just pathetic. All three are watching their neighborhoods being overwhelmed with traffic and who do they go after with their blog postings, rumor mongering, and insipid novels? Arlingtonians who are concerned about the deterioration of our quality of life.
