County Board Helped Support Corrupt Right Wing Salvadoran Government

Hello Yupette:

Seen in the Wall Street Journal on March 8th.

Under Presidency of Tony Saca (President of El Salvador between 2004 and 2009) the right wing Arena Party allegedly diverted $250 million of World Bank economic development funds to various "interest groups".

During the same period the Democratic Arlington County Board was developing close ties to the Salvadoran Government, including a "sister cities" program and several trips to and from El Salvador by both Arlington County and Salvadoran Government elected officials.

Just to let you know where our tax dollars are being spent.

Hey, just like the $$$$$ that was stolen from Arlington's basic infrastructure needs last year and given to Arlington's black tie arts partyers.

I wondered how those big delegations from El Salvador were able to afford to visit Arlington,

I also saw eh big delegations from El Salvador. Never mind teh World bank, how much is all this back and forth travel costing Arlington taxpayers?

Walter Tejada made the visits by the Salvadoran delegations into major political events aimed at the local Salvadoran population.

What activities does Tejada pursue in El Salvador?

Great question. What does Walter Tejada do when he's "interacting" with the corrupt pols in El Salvador?

Tejada calls himself a "consultant'. Who does he consult with?

What is the background of the Tejada family in El Salvador? I have always wondered about Tejada and exactly where he is coming from.
