Arlington Chamber of Commerce Working to Export "Green" Jobs to China

According to press releases from the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber is working with the Chinese government to export D.C. area jobs in research, design, engineering, technology, and environment to China. An Arlington Chamber delegation is visiting China in September and the Chamber is recruiting local employers who are interested in significantly reducing their employee costs to join the delegation.

So, how many Chinese corporations will be starting engineering firms in Northern VA employing Americans as the result of this trip?

Arlington Chamber is also anti renewable energy, anti affordable housing, anti living wage, and anti national health insurance.

Hi Yupette,

Don't know if you saw the news but there is legislation before Congress requiring every worker to obtain a national identity card and other legislation allowing Yuppies from foreign nations to receive work visas to compete for employment with American yuppies.

Chamber is typically Republican - export jobs to the Third World, import poor people from the Third World, constantly fight wars in the Third World. Prescription for prosperity in the 21st Century.

The Arlington Chamber is even opposing building owners being required to clear snow from in front of their buildings - after the County Board bent over backwards on spproving give-away site plans for the past two decades.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce endorses renewable energy. Arlington Chamber opposes renewable energy.
