County Board is certainly not going to sue DNC Chairman and and Governor of Virginia Tim "Hot Lanes" Kaine.

How did the HOT Lanes fiasco happen? Tons of lobbyist cash spread amongst the leadership of the General Assembly by Fluor and TransUrban.

Another County Board Charade? Will agree not to sue if sound barrier walls are 30 feet high rather than 20 feet?

Please note that the Fairlington Citizens Association, Inc. does not represent me and other Fairlington residents in matters involving HOT lanes. The FCA has done enough damage to this community already with it's micromanagement and mismanagement of Shirlington development, traffic calming, and other community issues.

Hi Yupette,

Washington Post reported today that VDOT is placing a moratorium on the construction of I-95 / I-395 HOT Lanes.

Yupette, yesterday the Post also endorsed Zimmerman's Pike trolley folly.

Moratorium until when? Until next Governor is inaugurated?

Scott McCaffrey didn't bother to report anything concerning HOT Lanes in the Sun Gazette, even though he lives 1/2 mile from 395 and even though HOT Lanes would affect traffic in areas where the SG is distributed, 22201.

It's time for a new local weekly to begin publishing in Arlington.
