Greens On Republicans Off Arlington's Advisory Boards, Commissions, Committees?

Why is a political party that dosn't bother to run candidates in elections allowed to name its members to citizens advisory groups?

The entire Planning Commission should be replaced by people who are not associated, affiliated, or comfortable with massive in-fill development and developers.

The Planning Commission is a rubber stamp for the REITs. Dump then all and appoint citizens who are concerned about Arlington's future quality of life.

Yes, dump the Republicans from advisory boards and commissions. If the Repubs can't nominate anyone for local office they are de facto defunct.

Kick everyone off who is pro-development and has anything to gain from more development.

At least the Republicans are around for the whole year, more than can be said for the Greenies

See any Greens on the County Board's year-end list of appointees and re-appointees?
